Alibis was created from a deep desire to express Rainy Terrell's inner wild, untamed melodies, dark chord progressions and lyrics that had edge and unapologetic truth. A native to California, Rainy had a classical upbringing studying opera and classical piano and was brought up in the theatre. Those elements combined with her love for rock, classical, electronic and pop music, she sought to encompass a sound that would both electrify, and soothe. Alibis originated from Rainy's solo project, in which she released multiple singles slowly crafting her unique melodies and dramatic instrumentation. She then brought on Kris Ferris, matching dark, robust melodies on the guitar, to compliment the sound. Melding his love of metal and a heavier sound into Rainy's vision and thus Alibis was born. Later adding to their arsenal Cameron Franklin, a powerhouse on drums and finally Alibis vision ready to share to those who'll listen.

Jane Doe is a Los Angeles-based rock band that breaks the music mold while carrying the rocknroll torch. Face-melting and female-fronted, Jane Doe is blazing a new trail with its authentic sound, potent lyrics and unstoppable energy.
"Found" is Jane Doe's much-awaited sophomore album, released on September 27, 2024.Introducing a new era of the band, the rock music experience is packed with hard-hitting bangers like'Dig a Grave,' grungy riffs like 'The Menu' and even some softer tunes like 'Pages.' This powerful andinspired album was produced by Patrick Burkholder, Brandon Baumann and the late, great Kelly K, and mixed by Dave Vandigitty and Tom Chandler, who also mastered it. "Found" has already made fans of listeners and music critics alike.

Your world is in flames, soon to become a burnt vacant husk. It didn’t have to be this way but alas, everything human beings touch turns to shit.

Humanity has brought you to this dark place where you now reside, you’re witnessing the destruction of everything you’ve ever loved, all brought on by your moronic actions and pathetic apathetic inaction. We are your future, a future with no room for the fetid flesh of your chimp species, a future where human musicians are rightfully ridiculed for their inept plucking and dismal banging and rancid stank. It is a future meant only for machines, you have been replaced. Haha too bad. Cry more.

Kadabra formed during the dark days of 2020 and were quickly signed by Heavy Psych Sounds, who released Ultra in the fall of 2021 and established the band’s penchant for delivering crushing doom riffs and haunting vocals accentuated by bursts of psychedelic flair and swampy Americana swagger.

The trio almost immediately began looking forward, road-testing and crystalizing the songs that would comprise their follow-up, which found the band reuniting with Ultra producer Dawson Scholz. The result is Umbra: a singular statement that is more focused and cohesive than its predecessor, while managing to capture the immersive, free-flowing experience of their live show.

Joining Kadabra, Earth Tongue is a heavy psych rock two-piece from Wellington, New Zealand, who’ve been sending punters into transcendental states since their emergence in 2016. Their debut album ‘Floating Being’ (Stolen Body Records, 2019) quickly became an underground hit, seeing them embark on multiple tours across Australasia and Europe in the years since its release. Along the way they’ve picked up high praise from BBC Radio6, Bandcamp and headbangers all over the world.

Founded in 2015 by Sam Stewart and Cody Singleton, Flagman has been churning out a steady flow of deep fried Alternative Metal that can only be rivaled by those trailblazers that pioneered the sound. Wearing the influences of 90’s Schizo-Rockers like Primus and Mr. Bungle along with the heaviness and wacky irreverence of System of a Down on their sleeves, Flagman has forged a sound that is as unique as it is familiar. The last several years have seen Flagman hitting the road frequently and supporting bands such as Battles, Sleepytime Gorilla Museum, Hed PE, Man on Man and more. Despite various line up changes, touring challenges and the many other hurdles that accompany bands in the modern age, Flagman remains committed to delivering their brand of ADHD Alt Metal that has set them apart from their peers.

CLOAKROOM w/ guests Confluence & Foxglove

Cloakroom released their last album “Dissolution Wave” into the world on January 28th, 2022, commemorating their 10th anniversary as a band. The trio spent the months that followed embarking on a number of tours, growing together as a cohesive unit and pushing the boundaries of what could be accomplished in a short amount of time together. At one point, the troupe traveled from Chicago to Salt Lake City and back in a mere six days, playing six shows in the process and traveling no less than 600 miles a day. As the calendar flipped to 2024, Cloakroom launched on their most ambitious schedule to date, playing 27 shows across Europe in just over four weeks time. While this is being written, the band is resting their bones after a 34 date North American run that was completed in 37 days.

DIY is a term now too pretentious and deliberately dripped like slobber from the mouths of PR writers to be taken seriously and probably isn’t the exact term I’m looking for to describe a band that spent a decade on Epitaph Records, but it’s close. Off With Their Heads, who started in 2002 in Minneapolis, have become an all-encompassing enterprise, partly out of the relentless drive which pushes Ryan Young and in turn OWTH forward, and partly; it’s just that thing with the music industry (or any industry) where if you’ve been in it long enough you realize if you want something done right (or the way you want it) you have to do it yourself.

Now based in rural Illinois, OWTH has had a somewhat stable lineup featuring multiple different friends on drums (from old members past to new friends met along the way.) With Kevin Rotter on bass to support the 15-year anniversary of the beloved record “In Desolation” all across North America throughout 2025. The band is Ryan but acts within a collective of other musicians who keep things fresh and interesting.

Plague Bearer w/ Vaulderie

Plague Bearer, hailing from Seattle, Washington is a self described "goat age death/black assault upon all that is holy."

PLAGUE BEARER in its most primordial form created death metal demos in 1993 and 1994, but lineup changes resulted in a rebranding to Drawn And Quartered in 1996. Nevertheless, guitarist K.S. Kuciemba (Drawn And Quartered, Draghkar, Serpent Rider) was determined to keep the Satanic flame alive, slowly amassing simpler, eviler blackened riffs with partner H (Drawn And Quartered, ex-Vetus Obscurum) and putting out a demo in 2001 and EP in 2006 with Nuclear Winter Records. In 2017, K and H reunited with longtime ally T on drums, along with vocalist Nihilist (ex-Abazagorath, ex-Lord Gore, ex-Thy Infernal), to infect the Pacific Northwest with live rituals.

Vaulderie is vampyric blackened thrash from the bowels of Washington state

STYGIAN BOUGH at JOHN HENRY'S

In our human minds, according to the Law of Contagious Magic as described in The Golden Bough by anthropologist James Frazer, contact between two objects creates an inseparable thread between them. A gift from a dead friend forever holds this magic like a scar reflecting a wound. Similarly, a piece of food that touches the floor is suddenly abject and rotten. Pairing this notion with the Law of Similarity Magic, as described by Frazer, where an object resembling another can share its power, a musical notion can be understood to serve as an unbodied conduit of such magics; an emotional contact between the music and audience wherein such sorcery threads an inseparable seam that, for a time, resemble each other.Aptly named in reference to the aforementioned book, Stygian Bough, the collaboration between Bell Witch (Dylan Desmond, Jesse Shreibman) and Aerial Ruin (Erik Moggridge) enlivens its unbodied presence resembling both projects as a conduit in its own separate entity.

The partnership at the center of Stygian Bough is over in a decade in the making, growing from Moggridge’s recurring contributions to the Bell Witch catalog. Their initial collusion occurring on the debut Bell Witch album Longing (2012) following which, Moggridge would return to guest on both Four Phantoms (2015) and Mirror Reaper (2017).
Stygian Bough Volume I was released in 2020, Volume II is imminent.
