Green Jellÿ is an American comedy heavy metal musical group from Kenmore, New York. Originally named Green Jell-O, they changed their name due to legal pressure from the owners of the Jell-O trademark, who claimed that it was an infringement on their trademark. Despite the spelling difference, the new name and the old are pronounced identically.
The name was chosen due to the band's poor opinion of that flavor, and they decided that it also appropriately reflected the quality of their music. The band never attempted to be good, deciding instead to "disguise their lack of ability with stupid props," as their liner notes put it.
Band members, who have exceeded 74 in number over the years, perform under aliases such as Marshall Staxx and Jesus Quisp. The band was able to sell records based on their visual weirdness for several years, doing fine up through the mid-'90s.

ACxDC stands for Antichrist Demoncore. The band was founded in 2003 by Sergio, Pablo, Jeff, and JC. Within 2 years of playing together they released the Jack Trippin' Demo, He Had it Comin' 7", and had 2 tracks on the Signs Of An Impending Doom Compilation. They quickly made their mark in the power violence/grindcore scene by playing tons of wild shows all over Southern California. By 2005 the band had called it quits, but in the summer of 2006 they decided to have a reunion show with all original members for one night only. That looked like the end until they again reunited in 2010, revitalized and have been going strong since, showing no signs of stopping. In 2020 they dropped SATAN IS KING, cementing that ACXDC is here to stay.
Joining ACXDC is New Orleans death grind/hardcore group BRAT. BRAT comes in swinging with blast beats, bass-laden breakdowns, and riffs inspired by OSDM and NYHC.
Through the melding of genres, the foursome stand out from the sludge that the Crescent City is known for. BRAT also brings a yassified look to the scene, shirking traditional metal imagery for femme pop icons and pink-pilled Y2K aesthetic. BRAT are making strides in the underground music world with powerful force, putting Barbiegrind/Bimboviolence on the map.

You ever feel like you were born too late? That sick feeling of missing out has beenembedded in the Bay Area bellies of The Atom Age since they were just young rockers chewing on bubblegum. Was it the early 1960s missed out on? No, No, it must’ve been the 50s. Wait! Maybe it was hanging on the playground during the 90s that stings the most?
Who the hell knows? All they do know is that they weren’t there, but goddamn did it sound good. You have to wonder if there’s a place in this driveling modern world for them and their negative minds just can’t see it. Couldn’t they find their standing if they puffed up their pompadours and leaned into the neo-rockabilly slack jawed hot rod scene? Perhaps a half hearted stab at lo-fi budget rock could be the path of least resistance? Why not go full on punk and reap the rewards?
We may never have the burning answers to these questions
and frankly, it’s likely too far gone to find out. Having learned almost nothing from playing music for over a decade, The Atom Age convened once again in 23’ to lay down a new record. Their studio, District Recording, in the sleepy tech crusted Valley of Silicon provided the backdrop. The band opted to track live, using as little overdubbing and trickery as one can reasonably get away with. The resulting self-titled LP is from the gut, gloriously smart and stupid, while dropping all the sniffs and secret hints from missed decades past that could be mustered. It’s fun, clever, and at times dumb. More info in ticket link...

From swingin’ Sudbury, Ontario, CA (nada), here come TOMMY and the COMMIES with their debut recordings for Slovenly Recordings, Here come Tommy and the Commies! “Here Come…” is 16 blistering minutes of hooliganistic mod-punk madness featuring Jeff Houle, also known as the sole brain behind budget rock cult faves STRANGE ATTRACTOR, and his brother Mitch, known ⅔ collectively as the power-pop force STATUES of P. Trash Records fame.
Swagger drenched youngster frontman Tommy Commy recruited Strange Jeff by dragging him into a bathroom stall during a punk show, playing him an inaudible demo on a phone. The Houle Two agreed to join forces for Tommy’s first foray into the world of record making on the strength of giving “Spiral Scratch” era Howard Devoto a run for his dosh on the vox on any given holiday. This kid has GOT IT, BABY!
In a perfect modern world, songs like “Devices,” and “Suckin’ In Your 20’s” would be massive chart smashes on the level of “Teenage Kicks.” Those days are long gone, but here we are in 2018, giving YOU what you need, and what THEY don’t deserve.

Over the last two decades, the name Austin Lucas has become synonymous with emotionally impactful, intellectual songwriting, and unparalleled live performances. Consumed by an overdeveloped sense of wanderlust as a young person, the critically-acclaimed Bloomington, Indiana-bred artist spent their formative years in the driver’s seat of various beaten-up Ford Econolines. Burning through countless miles and living the world over, Austin calls “home” everywhere from the American West Coast to the central states of the European continent.
As a young person, Austin worshipped a diverse mixture of Classic Rock, Country, Punk, Psychedelic Folk, and Mountain Music and has made a career by successfully fusing these disparate influences into something uniquely their own. Austin, known as a “songwriter’s songwriter,” has been a fixture in the worlds of Alternative Country and Folk Punk, having toured with everyone from Willie Nelson, Brent Cobb, Face To Face, Frank Turner, Lavender Country, Nathaniel Rateliff, Chuck Ragan, Dawes, Langhorne Slim, Joe Pug, John Moreland, Lucero, and many others.
“Lucas has been in this particular game for over two decades, and has used that time wisely in honing his sound and carving out a unique niche. Americana, punk, and folk all attract their fair share of misfits, but there’s no one quite like him.” – PITCHFORK

Since their inception in 2012, the Spurs have kept a relentless schedule of recording, playing locally, and touring. After nearly 500 live appearances in almost a dozen countries, and with a slew of albums and singles to their name, Jenny Don’t and The Spurs are just getting warmed up.
The Spurs were founded one cold, winter’s evening by Jenny and Kelly. Jenny had been fronting her own band, DON’T, for some time, as well as playing the occasional solo acoustic set here and there. Kelly, who had been in a slew of Portland punk bands since the 80’s, and who had spent the previous several years balancing a grueling touring schedule playing drums with the garage rock trio PIERCED ARROWS and bass with Portland punk-rock destroyers P.R.O.B.L.E.M.S., and wanted to switch gears a bit. After the concept of forming a raw, real, and back-to-the-roots country band had taken hold, it wasn’t long before the couple was rehearsing a seminal set of standards by such influential early country crooners and outlaws like Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, Ernest Tubb, and Hank Sr., as well as a sprinkling of originals.
Now with a decade of live appearances under their tooled-leather Western belts, the Spurs aren’t slowing down a bit. The Spurs are a musical force to be reckoned with, and the intensity and energy of their live set is a must-see for anyone who enjoys spirited garage-infused country music played with sincerity and raw conviction.

Olympia Washington death/doom act MORTIFERUM mine the poisonous quagmire of classic American death metal, the warped visions of Finnish death metal, and the suffocating lurch of funeral doom for inspiration, the result of which bears a massive and crushing weight.
"These guys know how to write songs that alternate between laying you slowly to rest in the grave and violently shaking you back to life. The cavernous growls, the swirling Incantation riffs, the trance-inducing Bolt Thrower rhythms, the chaotic leads, the noodling bass, the thunderous drums—they all combine into one big auditory beatdown." - Angry Metal Guy [dot] com

The groundwork for what has become the relentlessly-touring sonic assault known as The Koffin Kats was laid near Detroit, Michigan when Vic Victor (Lead Vocalist, Upright Bass) joined forces with long-time friend Tommy Koffin (Guitar). After adding Damian Detroit (Drums) the band kicked off in June 2003, stopping for nothing. Now, with over ten years of touring internationally and over two thousand live shows, the touring trio’s current home is out on the open road.

Loaded guns, space heaters, and big skies. Welcome to the lethal littered landscape of Jim Heath’s imagination. True to his high evangelical calling, Jim is a Revelator, both revealing & reinterpreting the country-blues-rock roots of American music. He’s a time-travelling space-cowboy on a endless interstellar musical tour, and we are all the richer & “psychobillier” for getting to tag along.
Seeing REVEREND HORTON HEAT live is a transformative experience. Flames come off the guitars. Heat singes your skin. There’s nothing like the primal tribal rock & roll transfiguration of a Reverend Horton Heat show. Jim becomes a slicked-back 1950′s rock & roll shaman channeling Screamin’ Jay Hawkins through Buddy Holly, while Jimbo incinerates the Stand-Up Bass. And then there are the “Heatettes”. Those foxy rockabilly chicks dressed in poodle-skirts and cowboy boots slamming the night away. It’s like being magically transported into a Teen Exploitation picture from the 1950′s that’s currently taking place in the future.
Listening to the REVEREND HORTON HEAT is tantamount to injecting pure musical nitrous into the hot-rod engine of your heart. The Reverend’s commandants are simple. And no band on this, or any other, planet rocks harder, drives faster, or lives truer than the Reverend Horton Heat. These “itinerant preachers” actually practice what they preach. They live their lives by the Gospel of Rock & Roll.
